Oasis Photoshoot

On May 29,2021 I had my first real photoshoot with three models at the Oasis Studios in Las Vegas ran by Mike Lee and the host of the studio was Louis Paul. Louis has a great studio with plenty of props to keep you busy all day with your models both indoors and outdoors. Mike had put the event together to get me some experience shooting models.

I have to say Mike done a excellent job with the models that he choose for the afternoon of shooting. Their modeling experience was amazing and their personalities were second to none. It made it real easy for me to get a feel for the model photography. The models made it a very fun and carefree day. Up to that point I only did landscape photography using Canon EOS R, Mavic 2 Pro drone and the GoPro.

First model I did photos with was Alexandra. Very quiet and fun personality with a lot of passion in her presentation of poses She had her poses down to a science. She has been modeling for over eight years. She really made it easy coming out of the gate for the first time. Secondly was Dani. She was full of energy and fun. Same as Alexandra, Dani has a years of experience really knew she wanted in her poses and what feel she was going after. Dani was a blast to work with. It was like the camera and Dani was meant to be together. Finally there was Julia. again Julia has great modeling experience and had a real passion for the camera. Julia has a great compassion for life which was easily seen through her pictures that day.

During the editing process, of course my first time processing model pictures. Needless to say I made a few mistakes. All three of the ladies were very understandable and work with me till the pictures were edited to satisfaction. Being that this was my first time it was real easy to see how hard it for the ladies out there modeling. They really are working hard working through the poises. It was a great learning experience. I would recommend any photographer to do a photoshoot with either one of these ladies. You will find it a very comfortable and fun experience. Thank You Ladies for your hard work that day!!
